Hermes Porcelains
The design was as premeditated as inevitable. The raw material required for its white-kind color and drawing. The beginning of 1984, the bond silk and porcelain is very strong. The first porcelain services (Pivoines, Toucans, Chiens d ‘arràt Chiens et courants) are just inspired by the designs of carrà. The same artists draw on a new subject with the same enthusiasm, the same freshness. He counted only the spirit Hermès and the need to use the same “ingredients”: to tell a story, harmoniously juxtapose the colors, making a touch of easy wealth. The great success of decorum Toucans confirms the ‘Hermès entry into a new world: that of the art of the table. 1989, with “Marqueterie de Pierres d ‘Orient et d’ Occident” Hermès reaches the finish line of an immense work where nothing is left to chance in the desire to tell a wonderful story, rich in sophisticated colors.
In 1991, the crystal is added to porcelain and earthenware. Yet there is the need to tell a story: the crystal “Inca” shines with its color enamel rings “millefiori”, the model “Djerba” s’ lights of purity with its small round or square windows. In 1992, Hermes becomes a true art professional table: l ‘last ring is made from’ Silverware table: the “Moisson” collection was born. Table Hermès was born! In 1994, Hermes presents the collection “Attelage”, porcelain, cutlery and colored glasses played on the theme of the horse with bridle, buckles, it corrects and arabesques that s’ intersect to create the magic of the team of horses ready to go. On the threshold of 2000 Hermes offers exciting new decors on porcelain: “Siesta” that evokes irresistibly those secret gardens, a little magic described in ‘s childhood books, “Le jardin de Pythagore” where shines lush greenery playing with all of the tones green, “Africa” which calls for a great trip on the theme of wild animals, “Matin de l ‘Atang” where flora and fauna are awakened, without haste, in the calm light of a summer’ s day, “Nil” ode to serenity and the purity of a lotus flower that opens gently. The story continues …. the stories illustrated by these products never end and Hermès test an unspeakable pleasure to always create new ones, for the happiness of all.
H Déco
The wrought iron Art Deco friezes that decorate the Hermès boutique at 24 Rue du Faubourg and at number 17 Rue de Sèvres, inspired H Deco, a tea set in a Parisian style. The service bears the initials HH, around which develops a pattern of black and white spirals.
